Driver Profile

Very pleasant. Hard working and fast. A very competent driver, I felt safe in his vehicle.

I am giving this service one star only because the job was eventually completed after an extremely stressful experience. I booked a service via Quick Van and Man for my uncle, as I couldn’t be there in person. The driver was scheduled for 2:00 pm, but at 1:55 pm I was informed that the driver would only arrive at 3:00 pm. After that message, there was no further communication until he finally turned up at 4:15 pm—a total delay of over two hours. By then, my uncle had already carried all his belongings outside due to time constraints and was left waiting on the roadside for the driver to show up. Because of this delay, he had no choice but to continue with the same driver, as the storage facility was about to close. They had to rush to load the van, some items were left behind due to the time pressure, and they barely made it before closing. This caused unnecessary stress, and my uncle then had to pay extra for extended time at the storage facility because unloading went past its normal hours. Communication throughout was very poor. When I spoke with Anna from the office, I was told that Muhammad should have informed them of the driver’s delay so that an alternative could be arranged, but that clearly never happened. To make matters worse, after unloading, the driver and Muhammad insisted on full payment, and we ended up paying £50 out of the £57 remainder despite the awful service and the extra costs their delay caused. I am beyond disappointed with this experience and cannot recommend this service.
