How does Quick Man and Van work?
Customers who need the Quick Man and Van service enter their removal details on our web form, then Quick Man and Van calculates the costs for the removal according to Man and Van service providers' pricing settings and displays the quotes on the results page. Customers can then book instantly if they are satisfied with the costs and terms of the job.
How safe is Quick Man and Van website?
Quick Man and Van uses SSL web to encrypt the connection and the payment modules are secured by Stripe and PayPal which are well known and trusted around the world.
How do I get a removal quote?
All you have to do is to complete the required fields on the Instant Quotes page and our platform will instantly send all available Man and Van service provider quotes for the job.
Do my quotes include VAT?
All Man and Van service providers are self-employed sub-contractors, so no VAT charge is added.
How do I confirm my booking?
To confirm your booking click the "Book Now" button on the results page and follow the payment instructions.
How do I pay for my booking?
You can pay a deposit of 35% upon booking confirmation and the remaining amount in cash to the driver or you can pay the full quote price online.
How do I get the best price?

How do I receive the booking confirmation?
Once you pay for your booking you will receive a confirmation email. When the booking is accepted by the driver you will receive an email with the driver's contact details.
Can I cancel my booking?
You are able to cancel a booking at any time. In certain cases, cancellation fees are applied according to our Cancel and Refund policy.
Can I make changes to my booking prior to the removal day?
You can make any changes as long as you discuss and confirm with your Man and Van service provider.
Does my coupon code give me a discount every time?
Your coupon code will give you one discounted booking. However, not all Man and Van service providers participate in our discount campaigns due to their low prices.
What is the minimum amount of time I can book a man and van for?
All quotes can be booked with a minimum of 1 hour charge. If your trip from collection address to delivery address takes more than 1 hour, then the minimum time you can book is the trip time. You must also add to your booking the loading and unloading time.
Are there any additional booking costs, other than the quote?
No, you will be charged only with the quote amount.
What happens if the removal takes longer than I booked?
If the removal takes longer, you will be charged every half hour and you will pay to the driver.
When does the charging start and stop?
The charging will begin the moment the Man and Van service provider has parked and made contact with you and will end when the last item is inside the delivery location.
Why have the prices changed since my last search?
The price changes as you get closer to your move date because low price Man and Van service providers are booked quickly. We advise you to book a Man and Van service provider as soon as possible for the lowest prices.
Do my quotes include the congestion charge?
No, if you are moving within the congestion zone, £15.00 will be paid at the end of the job to the driver. If you wish to avoid the congestion charge, consider booking on a weekend, national holiday or after 18:00 on a weekday.
Do my quotes include toll road charges?
No, the cost for the toll road charges will be paid at the end of the job to the driver.
Do my quotes include parking fees?
The cost of parking fees (if any) will be paid to the driver at the end of the job.
Do my quotes include ferry costs?
No, your Quick Van and Man quote does not include ferry costs. If any ferry costs occur, you will pay to the driver at the end of the job (note that ferry costs must be paid by the customer for return trip as well).
Will I get a receipt on completion?
Yes, the driver will issue you either a paper or electronic receipt after the removal is completed.
Can I make stops between the collection and delivery addresses?
Yes, simply click the "add stop point" button on the Instant Quotes page.
Can I travel in the van?
Yes, you can travel in the van if there are available seats at no charge. Available seats depend on the type of van you select and how many helpers you request.
Can you provide more helpers if required?
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure enough helpers are ordered. If you require more helpers for the removal, please speak with your driver directly. He may have resources to help complete the removal.
Can I arrange a return trip?
Yes, you can arrange the return trip with your driver directly.
Are all your drivers insured?
Yes, all drivers are insured. Each driver displays a bronze, silver or gold badge, depending on the coverage type. Drivers with bronze badge offer basic coverage while gold badge drivers offer premium coverage.
What are Bronze drivers?
Drivers that sent us external image of the vehicle, the driver license and the motor insurance display a Bronze badge.
What are Silver drivers?
Drivers that sent us external image of the vehicle, the driver license, the motor insurance and good in transit cover display a Silver badge.
What are Gold drivers?
Drivers that sent us external image of the vehicle, the driver license, the motor insurance, good in transit cover and public liability insurance display a Gold badge.
Can I get additional insurance?
Yes. For increased insurance coverage, please contact your home insurance provider.
What happens if my items are damaged?
In the unlikely event that an item is damaged, please contact Quick Man and Van at +44 7479 976 677 or +44 199 267 7586 or email us.
What happens if the driver is delayed?
In the unlikely event your vehicle is delayed you will be contacted and updated with an estimated time of arrival.
What happens if I delay the job?
If you wish to modify your collection time, please discuss with the driver his availability. In the case that the driver has already arrived to the collection point, you will be charged every half hour for the extra time.
How should I prepare for the move?
In preparation of your move, make sure that everything is packed when the driver arrives, that the driver will have access to the building and a spot for the van to park.
Will my items be handled correctly during the loading and unloading process?
Our Man and Van service providers are obliged to respect you and your items. All vehicles carry trolleys, straps and blankets to make sure that your items are safe during transport.
Do I need to be personally present on the removal day?
You don't need to be personally present on the day of the removal, but the Man and Van service providers will need an adult representative (usually a friend or family member) to let them into the collection point, via and delivery address.
Will there be any documents to sign?
The Man and Van service providers will have all the necessary paperwork to sign, if required, including insurance documents.
Do all of your vans come with a driver?
Yes, all of our vans come with at least one driver. Based on your request, a Man and Van service provider can bring helpers to load and unload your items.
Can I request storage for my items?
No, Quick Man and Van does not offer any storage facilities at the moment.
Do Quick Man and Van supply boxes?
No, Quick Man and Van does not supply packing boxes. However you may request the number of boxes needed in the description box on the Instant Quotes page and your Man and Van service provider will contact you about packing supplies.
Do Man and Van service providers dismantle and re-assemble items?
Yes, our Man and Van service providers are equipped to dismantle and re-assemble items. Please add the name and description of the items to be dismantled in the description box on the Instant Quotes page if you need this service.
Can the Man and Van service provider refuse to transport any of my items?
Certain goods may not be transported due to their hazardous, dangerous or illegal nature. You can read more about this on our Terms and Conditions page.
Can the Man and Van service provider refuse to transport my pet?
In general, our Man and Van service providers are not against transporting pets in their vehicle. However, we strongly recommend notifying the driver about this in the description box on the Instant Quotes page.
How do I leave feedback?
After the removal is complete, you will receive an email with a link where you can leave feedback for the Man and Van service provider you selected. Please note that feedback is subject to mediation and in case of bad rating we will investigate the matter.
