Man and Van in Manchester, M40

Overall Lucas was very helpful to move the boxes from my old apartment. The only thing there was some error in communication because the website had promised that the driver would be helping to get the stuff from apartment floors using a lift but Lucas was not made aware of it from my understanding. It wasn't communicated to the driver properly. After all, it is a removal van service therefore I would expect the driver to help to get the stuff from the apartments to be placed in the van and i did pay for it to be done. Also, it's not best to be told there is too much stuff when all the boxes could fit in the van as it was a 1-bed apartment and there were no very huge items and only two small pieces of furniture, all other items were in medium-sized boxes. In the end, everything was safely transferred without breaking although I think the boxes labeled fragile can be handled with a bit more care. Overall a big help in the moving process!

Driver complained a bit and was not enthusiastic when helping me to carry the boxes but still did. I paid 63GBP including one flight of stairs at the destination but he was not aware and did not carry the boxes until I let him know I had paid. The distance between the pick-up and destination was only 0.8 mi and the job was easily done within 1 hour. Therefore, I do not think it was worth the money I paid. He was a good person and it was probably not his day but I would not book with him again.
QMAV Response: We investigated the issue and Lucas has indeed a very bad day (family matters) which made him to work different than usual. We know that this is not the customer's fault and we discussed with Lucas in case similar situations will occur, to let us know and we will send somebody else to complete the job.

Driver was early and helpful with loading/unloading. I had everything boxed up so didn't need blankets.

Want satisfied at all,the website stated the driver would help but he wasn't very helpful at all. Will never use you ever again the service was terrible
