Man and Van in Luton, LU4

Calvin and his help arrived exactly on time. They were polite, helpful and very strong. Items were moved to storage much more quickly than expected. Would definitely use them again and can't recommend them highly enough.

1 hour and 20 minutes late. Every time I called they said they were 20 minutes away. They seemed annoyed that I was calling.

Kevin did a good job.

Driver was great. His boss was not. Booked in from 2.30pm to 6pm and finished on time. When the driver called a few minutes later the boss told me I need to pay for another half hour. I refused as this was not only wrong but a blatant attempt to rinse the customer, as if I hadn’t paid a lot to begin with. Disgusting. In addition, because the driver went via the M6 toll the boss tried again to charge me that expense, for both directions, which comes to over £20. This is not on, the route is known at the time of the quote, it should therefore be embedded in the quote. However, as it happened the driver didn’t even need to go via the toll, as I did exactly the same journey and by-passed it. I advised the driver to use the ‘maps’ gps rather ‘wayz’ in future, that way you are given an option to re-route around tolls. In addition, the driver should not be obliged to pay the toll, that it not on, the company should pay it. Absolutely disgraceful and this needs to change. I hate that companies suck both customer and driver dry, as the driver is clearly paid very basic pay as it is. Great guy, shame about his boss!

The driver didn't arrive until 11.35 so quite late ..he also didn't take some of my boxes so have to move them myself which wasn't my plan as I hired a large vehicle ..the driver and his mate were very friendly though

The van driver called in the morning and asked to delay by 3 hours, with no other option we agreed. At 3pm we started moving our things onto the road for the van arrival, only to get a phone call to say he wouldn’t be arriving until 7pm. We came back at 7pm and waited in the rain, the van didn’t show and didn’t pick up our calls. We are still waiting for a refund and so far our request has been ignored. Very stressful experience- would not recommend

I recommend Kevin and his team. They moved us without any fuss and really packed our things well and got as much in the van as possible. I will definitely use them again.

He drove professionally and it was a smooth ride

Kevin arrived 30 minutes late. A bit disappointing as I told him I needed him at the property for 8am sharp because of a delivery scheduled in the morning, but there were traffic problems, so not entirely his fault. He was friendly and did a good job with the loading / unloading. The whole operation took 2h40m, whereas I only paid for 2h30m, so I got charged £20 for an extra half hour. Overall Kevin was fine. Giving him 3* as he could have been better, could have been worse - somewhere in the middle.
