The driver was also delayed and informed he could not reach me after I had called the main line to understand what was happening. I had booked a move-in slot as the apartment complex is quite strict and had limited lift access due to maintenance. I requested a discount on the additional charge for what I felt was unjust and misinforming. Please note – I did not ask to go uncharged for the original price or the adjusted price, only a discount which I deemed rational. Furthermore, multiple of my glasses broke, I had advised that the suitcases and boxes labelled "fragile" needed to be stacked with the label facing upwards for obvious reasons. I comprehend delays happen and sometimes are out of our hands. On the contrary, I do not perceive the price as justified. I was in no mood to argue as moving is quite stressful and tedious to commence with. I could easily not have paid the additional charge as the driver left me, but I think that would be wrong on my end. Regarding personality, I think he was adequate, but as with my profession, I cannot be biased towards nice people when the overall service is not up to par.

Rajesh was kind, helpful and respectful. 10/10 would recommend.

Didnt really help at all, just handed him stuff ehile he stood next to a van, i dont understand why i had to pay extra for stairs when he didnt use the stairs at all and just stood next to a van handing me stuff…

The driver (AJ) was very professional and friendly. It was roughly a 1 hour journey but the whole move went smoothly and trave time passed quickly. I would definitely book this service again in the future.

Jamal was the most hard working young man. He was unfortunately late but he did call me to say he was stuck in traffic. The whole move of my things went smoothly and Jamal was excellent.

Rajesh packed up his van and then refused to move the remaining boxes, saying he was only responsible for the contents of the van. He neglected to mention this while we were helping him load the van - if he had, he could have done the van and we could have done the car. He drove straight off to the storage unit - his whole priority was to finish the job as quickly as possible, and to be done within an hour when he had been paid for two. He was not very good at manoeuvering heavy items and our walls have some new scrapes now. He texted the evening before the booking to say, with zero apology, the time would be moved by an hour due to 'road and rail strikes'. There were no road strikes on that day and I'm not sure why rail strikes would have had an impact. I would have much rather he just asked to move the booking in good time rather than this kind of stuff. Overall, he got the job done but it wasn't a great experience.
