Helped load the van and get the items from an awkward property

The driver was fine. But I was not pleased with the general service and pricing. I was moving to a new flat, just 1 mile away from my old flat. I would have booked a large van for 1 hour, but since the minimum booking was 2 hours I decided to book a medium van with the intention of doing 2 trips. However on arrival the driver informed me that this was not allowed, but I was not given a reason why. If I hire a van for 2 hours, I don't see the problem in 2 trips (only 5 miles total!). So in the end I was asked to pay an additional £20 (£80 total) despite only using 50 minutes of the 2 hours I booked for. Not good value.
QMAV Response: The customer was correctly charged, because he booked only a trip. An additional trip requires 2 stop points and extra mileage, which costs and additional £20. While we offer van by the hour, the trips are charged based on the mileage and stop points - it is a different cost for 2 hours for a 2 miles trip, and a totally different for 2 hours and 50 miles trip.

Frank is very professional, a massive help with loading and unloading, and an excellent driver too. Top guy, highly recommended.

What a shambles of an experience, the pickup was scheduled for 10 am, however, the first driver had problems as his van broke down, so they found a replacement who picked up really late, so he never got to me until 8.30 at night, the problem is that you cannot get hold of anyone to find out what is happening as nobody answers the phone numbers on the website. The driver who finally brought everything was charming and helpful; I have no idea if he had straps and blankets.
